CIIP participated in the Caixin Asia Roundtable, hosted by Caixin Global in partnership with the Ford Foundation. The event focused on Rethinking Impact in Asia’s Investing Practices and examined what meaningful impact looks like for communities across the region. The session brought together leaders from startups, investors, corporates, foundations, academia, platforms, and policymaking.
CIIP’s CEO Dawn Chan spoke on the panel Redefining the Practice of Impact alongside Joris Dierckx (Mizuho), moderated by Xin Li (Caixin). The discussion covered the intersection of impact and business growth, the importance of intentionality in impact measurement, the rice of impact investing in Asia, scaling solutions from China to other markets, and approaches to catalytic investment across foundations and family offices.
The Roundtable also featured a live demonstration of the Co-Axis digital impact marketplace and presentations from 3 listed opportunities: SOLshare (green utility company), reach52 (community healthcare provider), and MAYANI (agri-tech company), an Amplifier mentee.
